Description
Illustration Class for High School Students
This class invites high school students to explore the art of illustration while developing their technical skills and personal style. Students will experiment with a range of traditional mediums—including graphite pencil, colored pencil, ink, watercolor, and gouache—to bring their ideas to life on paper. Lessons will cover fundamental drawing techniques, composition, and creative approaches to visual storytelling, with plenty of room for individual expression.
The class is taught by Ryan McCarron, a freelance illustrator with a BFA in Illustration, who brings both professional expertise and a passion for guiding young artists on their creative journey. This class is aimed at high school students, but middle school students will be accepted if they have previously taken drawing classes or comic book classes at the studio.
