Description

Camp for students looking to pursue an art related career such as graphic design, architecture, animation, fashion design, commercial artist or illustrator. For these college courses a portfolio of high quality artwork is generally required. During the course of the week students will create two or three on pieces of artwork to include in their portfolio. Students will be able to create pieces in any of the following mediums graphite pencil, charcoal, colored pencil, acrylic, soft pastels, oil pastels, ink (including calligraphy), mixed media, and oil.

Scholarships are offered by colleges to students with exceptional art portfolios. Alumni from our College Portfolio program have been accepted at include Pratt Institute, Savannah School of Art & Design, Rhode Island School of Design, School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Syracuse University School of Architecture, University of Pennsylvania Stuart Weitzman School of Design, LSU School of Architecture, Penn State School of Visual Arts, Virginia Tech, Auburn School of Architecture, Rutgers Mason Gross School of the Arts, University of Arizona School of Architecture, Austin Knowlton School of Architecture Ohio, Bates, Maine College of Art & Design, University of Vermont, Interlochen Center for the Arts, Drexel University Westphal College of Media Arts & Design, and UMass Amherst College of Humanities and Fine Arts.
