Step into your imagination and bring your very own hero to ‘virtual’ life! In this 6-week digital art class, students will design a one-of-a-kind character and their creature companion, inspired by their favorite books, games, and shows. Each week we’ll explore fun and creative exercises; from building bold silhouettes with cut-outs, to writing short character backstories, and digital painting. By the end, every student will have a finished digital character sheet featuring their original character, companion, and story elements. Plus new digital art skills and creative confidence they can carry into future projects and share with their friends! Students must bring an iPad with the App Procreate or an Android tablet with Clip Studio Paint loaded onto it to each class.
