Description

Learn basic techniques from how to mix and apply paint to a blank canvas through the various stages of creating your own pet portrait painting.  Novice and beginner students may move at their own pace, as everyone will be taught at their own level. The instructor will guide students through the steps needed to complete a beautiful portrait, in a fun and pressure free environment.The class will take the student from drawing the subject on canvas to interpreting light, shadow, values, and color matching. All materials are included, but students may use their own materials, if that is their preference. Instructor James Crispo, examples of his pet portraits shown above.
